Did you know that the kitchen is the most important room in the house, according to a new global poll by IKEA? In addition to its central use in food preparation, the kitchen is used by 35% of respondents for family discussion and entertaining others, and by 16% for hobbies. The survey also found a correlation between satisfaction with the kitchen and family harmony. So if you are thinking about renovating your kitchen, you might get a bonus “happiness” dividend!
