Heritage Homes in Niagara
Living in Niagara-on-the-Lake puts you amidst centuries of Canadian history. In 1782, 16 United Empire Loyalist families were first to settle here. Ten years later we were named the first capital of Upper Canada. As 1800 approached, the town grew to 70 homes – only to be destroyed in the war of 1812. An optimistic rebuilding program followed, and many homes dating back to the 1800s are proudly occupied and carefully maintained today – part of our living history! Because historic homes are such a distinctive aspect of Niagara-on-the-Lake, I have developed a customized approach to marketing these unique properties.
